Off to Narnia

I'm not someone who loves winter, however, I think this is becoming to be my favourite time of the year! As you are able to layer up and get all cosy before heading out.

This Christmas, we headed up to Monmouth, Wales with my whole family for a short break.

On the last day on the way to Forest of Dean, my uncles car broke down which lead to this little adventure to Narina.

A mini NARS haul

I finally purchased NARS Sheer Glow in the shade Syracuse. This foundation is a bloody amazing product and mention by many beauty bloggers But with no surprise it took me so long to purchase.  It has definitely exceeded my expectations. This is the most beautiful foundation I've ever tried. I was shocked at how my skin looked so smooth and luminous even after I have removed it all. Sheer Glow is a medium to full coverage foundation. The formula and consistency is easily blendable and buildable easily. When applying the foundation it provided coverage without looking cakey.

Overall, the Nars Sheer Glow gets big thumbs up from me as it differently works for my dry skin work. I wouldn’t recommend this foundation for people who have oily skin or an oily t-zone.

I also picked up a new lipstick, I'm a sucker for a new lipstick when I saw the NARS Audacious lipsticks, the colours were so gorgeous and pigmented and they came in this fancy new, magnetic packaging.

I was pretty overwhelmed at the counter. The formula isn't completely matte, but it's pigmented for sure, And I have always loved a matte lipstick. So I tried a few shades on the back of my hand, from pinks to dark plums.

Liv is a warm purple with a semi-matte finish. I need a new winter shade. It has a beautiful warm undertone to it that I couldn't refuse definitely for the winter months.

They are really smooth to apply, however I still want to try it with a lip brush as I may thing this would be easier.

With so many shades to choose, which shades do you have your eye on? Or any NARS products I need to purchase?

Autumn/Winter Wishlist

Firstly, I just wanted to apologise at how long it has been since I last blogged. I have just been so caught up in my new job and setting in to their routine. I must say it has been more of me being so tired running after little children all day long. But don’t worry I’m going to try and do a daily blog as often as I can. Please bare with me as I figure everything out.
As we are approaching the colder month, it is that time to grab a new staples autumn/winter staples that can be easily slotted into my wardrobe. There are a few shops that are featured in this wish list, which I like to shop at normally.
I’m on the hunt for a few wintery picks such as coats (hardest things to find), wintery boots. I just want to stock up warm gear okay gear feels weird to say, so warm essentials. Everything features are reasonable priced.

Review: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

So after my last blog, I thought now has been longer enough for me to review Garnier Micellar water. As most of would have already hear alot about Bioderma’s Crealine H20 Cleaner. As I had never purchase Bioderma, I thought I would get my hands on this Garnier one.

It is s a makeup remover, which is gentle on the skin. And an easy and effective way to remove all traces of makeup, plus fantastic on sensitive skin. ALSO you don’t even have to rinse your face after! (But I still do).

I absolute love this makeup remover! Literally with one large cotton pad I’m able to remove all traces of makeup. It feels hydrated on the skin, and really replenishing after. I would definitely recommend this, it does wonders with the your face.

Let me know if you have brought it and your thoughts, or thinking of buying it?

Unorganised Sister

From the title you can see how I got stuck into this situation. My sister is really unorganized, so she asked for me to help me her find an outfit for a boat party she is going to tonight, yes I said tonight. We went around town for three hours just trying to find an outfit it was a nightmare. The dress code for this event was smart; it took us a while to find out what my sister really wanted to wear. Finally, in River Island spotted a plain leather skirt that would be dressed down or up for any occasion. We paired this with a simple crop top and a dressy necklace.

Outfit

Necklace: Topshop (Can't find on the website but is in store)
Skirt: River Island
Bralet Top: Topshop
Heels: River Island (She has had them for a while)
Bag: Celine

As I had helped her with her outfit I thought that is fine I have done my bit, but it wasn’t over yet for me. She asked me to do her makeup. So I never really do other peoples makeup but my sister kept asking me, so I thought why not and can show you guys what I used for makeup for nights out (I’m not amazing, so do excuse anything that may look a bit crap). I went for a simple but elegant eye makeup and subtle face makeup.

Lifestyle: Shoreditch Food Village

I went for a burrito with grilled chicken and the other entire amazing bit with it, but had to obviously added guacamole. It was such a good burrito and exactly what I needed when you are quite peckish.

It was such a filling snack but so worth the money. I would so recommend this cool little pop up food village, for those who like to go to different places in London and explore.

If you are Shoreditch and you want a lovely snack for lunch I would defiantly suggest Shoreditch Food Village! They do different types of food around the world that will suit everyone’s taste, this is something I wouldn’t want people to miss, so I had to tell you about it.

Autumn Wishlist

Autumn Wishlist

As the weather has changed so dramatically in the UK, It is that time when summer has come to an end. Although, this is when it becomes harder to dress, as you don’t know if it going to raining, or summer. So I just picked a few items that would take myself nicely into the autumn. The key to this weather is keep laying thin layers whilst we get closer to winter.

What are your favourite autumn pieces?
