This experience included Thai-Fusion with Full Moon Party complete with a huge UV silent disco tent and live DJs. A ride on the dodgems,  a walk through China and see the enchanting spectacle of a thousand lanterns light up the night sky. An Arabian Night with entertainment from belly dancers in a Bedouin Tent.

Review: B.right! Radiant Skincare by Benefit intro kit

How cute and retro-looking is Benefit's packaging? And in diddy little mini bottles? Anything that comes in a miniature version is adorable, isn't it?

This six piece intro kit from Benefit’s b.right! skincare range, contains Foamingly clean facial wash, Moisture prep toning lotion, It’s potent! Eye cream, Total Moisture facial cream, Triple performing facial emulsion spf 15 pa++ cleanser and Refined finish facial polish cream. Oh, and they smell divine and so refreshing.

The packaging is oh so sweet. This also includes a little booklet that explains the products, how they work, and a great step by step on which products to use how and when! PLUS a travel bag, which is a great way to save space in your bag.

I’ve never actually tired Benefit’s skincare range, so I have no idea what to expect from these. I am someone that struggles with dry sensitive skin just generally I was hoping this radiant skincare could be me some favours. I’ve been using these products for about a week and a bit. After a few days I could see the different in my skin, it was giving me a healthy glow all over my face and my skin looked well hydrated!

Overall this kit is an amazing little introduction skincase basics and has some lovely products in there. It quite long lasting and great for taking on holiday or a short break. The only thing now is I want to buy all of the full size products! Althought I do have a favourite product in the kit, by far it has to be the eye cream so I will definitely be investing in that when it runs out.

If you'd like to try this product then the starter kit is available for £14.50 from Feelunique, ASOS and Benefit.

Have you tried any of the b.right products or other Benefit skincare? What did you think of them? Let me know in the comments.

Makeup: Mini Makeup Haul

ILLAMASQUA SKIN BASED CONCEALER

I normally go for Bobbi Brown corrector (£19.00) and creamy concealer kit (£24.50) but I thought I would venture out to a new brand. After browsing around Selfridges Makeup counters, decided to try out Illamasqua counter. This lead to the purchases of Illamasqua skin based lift concealer – Meduim 2 (£17.50).  It lifts and brightens the under eye area whilst providing neutralising colour correction and a buildable coverage. The colours in this concealer range have a peach-base undertone, this is necessity for any under eye brightening, as it corrects dark under eye circles. So this does the exact same as the Bobbi Brown products but is must cheaper and not using two products.

Left Picture: Not Concealed and Right Picture: Concealed

You can see from the photos that it is a great coverage and has great brightening elements.

MAC SKIN MINERALISE SKIN FINISH 'GOLD DEPOSIT'

I have wanted MAC Mineralise Skin Finish ‘Gold Deposit’ (£23.00) for so long now! Look how pretty and pigmented it is, why wouldn’t I love it? It is just so beautiful and perfect for the summer. It is basically a multi-purpose product that is mainly used for highlighting cheeks or bone. However, It can also be used as a blush or eyeshadow or an all over ultra-deluxe.

I prefer to apply this on my cheekbones, to give it a highlighted effect. You can see from the photos how the light is captured on my cheekbones, giving off an skin kissed look.

CLINIQUE CHUBBY STICK - SUPER STRAWBERRY

I purchased this Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm – Super Strawberry (retails at £17.00) in the Glamour Magazine - August edition. This product gives off a sheer reddish finish with a balm effect. This is perfect lip product for those who go the more minimalist look with their makeup. This product is lightweight, hydrating, and leaves color behind that enhances your lips natural pigment without being overly done or garish.

Makeup: The Return of the Eyeliner

I haven’t been wearing eyeliner for couples of years now; I came to a conclusion I prefer my eyes without it. I think that was a cover up my laziness or just tired of always getting it everywhere and them never looking equal.  On rare occasion if I were to wear I got my sister to do it (yes I know it just my laziness).

Anyways, recently I have been trying it out again. I’m currently using the eyeliner by Rimmel London Scandaleyes Micro Liner (£5.49) because it’s literally like a felt tip. I’m not amazing at applying liner (as you have just learnt) but I found this micro liner made the application much more easier. I prefer to keep the liner quite thin and then go for quite subtle flick at the end (if it goes right that day).

Does anyone have trouble with eyeliner like me, any products you suggest to make it easier? Can you do without eyeliner or just can’t live without it?

Fashion: Summer Wishlist

Wishlist

This wishlist started when I was browsing through the sales online, and then one thing lead to another and I was browsing around different sites. I thought why not make a wishlist for my blog.

Since we have been having some lovely sun recently (however it is raining well actually thunder and lightening right now). I thought I might as well look for cute skirts, particularly A-line and mini skirts. As I’m really petite, I find these skirts really flattering, for short girls like me. I find skirts like this so easy to throw on with any items of clothing.

ALSO, that bag I absolutely love it, it is similar to the designer bag Saint Laurent. I just LOVE this bag so much. Anyone feel the same way?

Have you seen anything you would add to my wishlist? Comment below

Welcome to my little world

Hello

My name is Seema, 21 years old and just graduated from Portsmouth University. I have been reading and looking at blogs for a while now, they have really inspired me to create my own. I have been meaning to make a blog for so long and finally I have got around to doing it.

I’ve been working my way around blogger for a few days now, it hasn’t been as simple as I thought it would be, I must admit! It has taken me a while to create and this blog page.

The idea and aspiration for blogging is to show you guys what I’m interested in and things I enjoy doing as well as outfit posts. I will be blogging about beauty fashion lifestyle. On the beauty side I might be a bit late on the ban wagon, but I think it is never to late to introduce myself to new products and let you know about my thoughts/reviews.

I hope you enjoy my future posts to come, do comment below if you have you own blog I would love to have a look at them as well.
